Tania's "Cure All" Tea

June 12, 2016

Ok... so this tea doesn't cure everything, but, the healing properties of each ingredient makes it pretty darn close. I drink this tea several times per week as a preventative "medicine" and to keep my body and immune system healthy, but feel free to use it for a variety of health issues. If taking any prescribed medications, just make sure to check that there aren't any interactions with the tea ingredients. Enjoy!

  • 1 tablespoon of fresh finely chopped or shredded curcumin (also known as turmeric)

  • 1 tablespoon of fresh finely chopped or shredded ginger

  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon of fresh or dried mint

  • 1 tablespoon of fresh or dried Verveine leaves (also known as verbena)

  • 2 tablespoons of Unfiltered Organic Apple Cider vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon of powdered cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon of organic raw honey

Add all the ingredients, except the lemon juice and honey, to a pot of 10 ounces of water and slowly bring everything to a boil using a low heat. Once the tea has started to boil, turn off the heat and allow the tea to sit for another 5-10 minutes. Add the lemon and honey at the end and drink!

Please note, it’s always recommended to use organic ingredients whenever possible, but if not, feel free to use what you have. Just be aware that the healing properties of the tea will increase with the use of organic ingredients. You can also use the powder form of curcumin and ginger but I always recommend using the actual ingredient when possible.
